Parking in Brighton – feedback from our guests suggests that parking in Brighton can be ‘challenging’, especially for minibuses or similar high vehicles. The best advice we can offer is to park in Maderia Drive; access from the pier roundabout. Minibuses can park on the pay & display bays on the south side of Madeira Drive. Will it be busy? Who can say? It depends on the weather. Do check dates before you go though; Madera Drive is sometimes closed for special events (speed trials, London to Brighton car runs etc.) If it’s full or closed keep going east past the marina and try at Roedean Road next to the pitch and putt.

Cycle Hire – Beacon Bikes [07542 188633): They offer a Drop-off and Collection service and can suggest planned routes.

Note that this is within very easy walking distance of Portslade Railway Station so could easily be reached by train from Hassocks Railway Station

Clay Pigeon Shooting A different activity for Scouts, not too far away at Falmer and recommended by a local Scout Leader. Scout Discount given – more details here.

Saddlescoombe Farm has occasional open days / lambing and is within easy walking distance.

Shoreham Airport has a Visitors Centre and is very close to the Adur Outdoor Activity Centre (‘Canoeing’ above).
