Introduction

There is wealth of Activities available both on- and off-site.  These range from Pioneering and Orienteering – on-site and free, to Hiking on the many Public Footpaths and the South Downs Way (within easy reach and free), to local Swimming Pools (Burgess Hill and Brighton), and a Water Activity Centre (Shoreham), in the local area.

All on-site activities are subject to availability – from time to time you might be unlucky and find some of them out of use.    Be aware also that occasionally some of the facilities (e.g. orienteering markers) may be removed or broken – usually for reasons outside our control.  It is best therefore to plan ahead and let us know what you would like to do on-site, and we can bring you up-to-date.

For those wishing a ‘tourist’ activity, Brighton – with its Beaches, Pier,  i360 and Shops – is close by.

London is about an hour away by train from the nearby Hassocks Station.

There really is something for everyone.   Even on a rainy day!

On the following pages is a list of some of the Activities available; the list is not exhaustive, but we have tried to include as many as possible.   If you find something we have missed, please let us know (Contact Us).
